Product family: Chain Extender
Description: REGRATEX MB-D in an active masterbatch, designed for the PET reactive extrusion
and I..V. enhancement, used to keep or to improve the viscosity and molecular weight during melt state processing and/or further SSP.
It is suitable for no transparent applications(Textiles, Compounds, etc.) or transparent sheets and films.
REGRATEX MB-D must be employed as normal master-batch, directly in the hopper of the extruder, not dried with the PET and metered by dedicated feeder.
It can be employed both on dried or undried PET, according to application and
performance required.
At very low percentages, up to 0,2%, REGRATEX MB-D also acts as oligomers
scavenger, recovering the original viscosity of the PET, avoiding plate-out effects on the dies and on the polished rolls.
Usage Level: Recommended amount ranges from 0,1% to 1% according to concentration
required by user process, raw materials quality and desired I.V. to be achieved.
